I am a features writer and interviewer who covers sport, culture, science, health, books, men’s issues, travel, history, music, cycling, adventure, exploration and more. I have written for The Telegraph, The Financial Times, The Observer, The Times, The Evening Standard, National Geographic, Men’s Fitness, Cyclist, Cycling Plus, Red Bulletin, Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Runner’s World and many other titles.

Memorable interviewees include Usain Bolt, Ian McEwan, Eric Cantona, Katie Melua, Ludovico Einaudi, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Katherine Jenkins, Gary Barlow, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Harry Kane, Emilia Fox and Mark Cavendish. As an experienced interviewer, I have also been commissioned to ghost columns for Jonny Brownlee for The Telegraph and Jonny Wilkinson for Outdoor Fitness.

I have written cover features for the Telegraph Magazine, the FT Weekend Magazine, The Times Magazine, the Observer Magazine, ShortList, Sport, Men’s Fitness, Red Bulletin, FHM, Cyclist and several other national titles.

After graduating with a First in Modern History from Keble College, Oxford University, in 2002, I worked as a writer and features editor in London, before going freelance in 2010.

In addition to writing editorial features, I have also provided consultancy for brands such as Procter & Gamble and Red Bull, and I have worked on commercial content for clients like Oakley and Gillette.

I cover both short-lead and long-lead editorial features. I particularly enjoy writing long-form features, researching in-depth interview profiles, and developing original feature ideas.

This website is a portfolio of some of my favourite features.
